Registration for this event closes 7 June 5.30pm.

This is a must-attend online only session for anyone interested in organisational integrity, accountability, and proactive corruption prevention in modern policing.

Inspector Sasha Roberts, Integrity and Corruption Prevention, Queensland Police Service (QPS) partners with Rhiannon Boden, Executive Director Corruption Prevention and Engagement, Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) to deliver an insightful and practical presentation on how the two agencies are collaborating to strengthen integrity and prevent police misconduct and corruption.

In this session, Rhiannon will provide an overview of the CCC’s role oversighting police misconduct and corrupt conduct, share insights on common misconduct and corruption trends the CCC sees across the QPS, and discuss the ways the CCC and QPS are actively working together in their shared goals of responding to and preventing serious misconduct and corruption.

Attendees will get a practical overview of the CCC’s police oversight role and hear about the importance of collaborative partnerships in supporting the achievement of shared integrity objectives.

Inspector Roberts will provide an engaging overview of the QPS Integrity and Corruption Prevention function, highlighting the frameworks that guide ethical policing—including the QPS’ Standard of Professional Practice. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how integrity is not just a principle, but a daily practice embedded in the actions, decisions, and responsibilities of every QPS member.

A key highlight will be the Active Bystandership program, an innovative initiative that empowers personnel at all levels to take ownership of ethical behaviour. This program reinforces the message that integrity and ethical behaviour is everyone’s responsibility, equipping members with the confidence and capability to speak up and act when it matters most.
